Reverend Stacy Bolden


The oldest of six children was born in Charleston SC.  Her parents are Mrs. Marie Bolden and the late Mr. Lawrence D. Bolden Jr.  She has one daughter. Her educational back ground started in the public schools of Charleston SC. She also attended South Carolina State University where she studied Speech Pathology & Audiology.


Rev. Bolden graduated from Southeastern Institute in 2012 with honors. She holds a Certification and is a Registered Medical Assistant.

 Rev. Bolden has from childhood been a CME Church member.  Vanderhorst Memorial CME Church in Charleston SC has always been her home Church. She has held the positions of Stewardess, Steward, and Chairperson of the Board of Stewards. She answered the call to preach the Gospel in 2011. She was licensed as a Local Preacher in 2012. Rev Omar Dykes was her Pastor. She was admitted on trial in the Carolina Region Annual Conference in 2014.


Rev. Bolden was ordained to the order of Traveling Deacon in 2016 and Traveling Elder in 2018 by Bishop James B. Walker. She was appointed by Bishop Walker as Pastor in charge of Macedonia CME Church in Allendale SC in 2018.

Rev. Bolden is currently employed by Sandpiper Courtyard Senior Community in Mt. Pleasant SC. She holds the position of Dietary Director. She loves to travel and cook.

She loves God and God's people. She believes that every day is an opportunity to tell someone about the goodness of God.
